Rent canoes, kayaks, and tubes and explore nature with friends and family. We have 2 person kayaks, canoes for a family of 3-4, and kid-friendly kayaks for the little adventurer.

Rent boats or tubes with our office staff. Go for a few hours or rent for the day!

All the Equipment You Need

Life vests (PFDs) and paddles included. Dry bags available for rent. Sunscreen and fishing gear and bait available at our store.

Description

The Suncook River is a slow and winding river that travels from the northeastern to southwestern corner of the campground, and is teeming with fish and wildlife. Explore both directions of the river with ease, the currents are generally lazy and easy to paddle with and against. Feel like taking it easy? Tube from the first beach on property (across from the playground) to the second beach it takes about an hour with a good book or cold drink in tow.

How to Boat at Suncook River Camp

We rent boats to seasonal and transient guests of the campground during our camping season (mid-May to late October)
Visit our camp store located at the front of the property during normal business hours to rent a boat and sign our boat policy and waiver.
Boat rentals are $15/hr and tube rentals are $10 per tube (all day) - we'll hold a credit card on file for incidentals.
If interested in boating before 10am, please visit the store the day prior to rent.
No boats allowed on the river after dusk. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund.
