In May 2024 we purchased the Suncook River Camp and began a total renovation. The campground has been a cherished part of this Southern NH community since the 1970s, and we plan to keep it that way.
We're ready to open for Season 3 on May 15, and we're excited to show you what we've been working on:
With a brand new liner, sun shade, and chairs for lounging, kids and adults alike love cooling off in our in-ground pool. With toys, pool noodles, kick-boards, tubes and the occasional freeze pop delivery you may never want to get out.
Our newly renovated bathhouse features separate men’s and women’s toilets, plus 3 upgraded private showers. The hot showers have a modern design and great water pressure.
We've also installed 2 modern portable toilets; the pool area and domes and vintage camper area.
We offer four classic vintage campers for rent. These unique options all feature brand new mattresses with all the amenities you need to cook and camp with comfort. Find your favorite camp partner and join us for a dreamy vacation. Two have private bathrooms, while all four come with sheets and blankets as well as an outdoor camp stove, coffee press and all the pots, pans, etc you’ll need for your stay.
Our modern family-sized RVs (1 Jayco and 3 Prowlers) are the most commonly requested options for our guests. Each camper is ~30’ long, comes with sleeping for up to 6, ACs, private bathrooms with tubs, full kitchens, and all the amenities including pots, pans, plateware and sheets and blankets. Camp in comfort with zero hassle, our campers are professionally maintained.
We've launched three new glamping domes this season. They're decked right on the river; next to the vintage campers and our new modern outhouse.
Each dome comes with all you'll need from a fully set up bedroom, kitchen, and linens; just like our typical cabin or RV rental.
Coming Soon. Our beautiful 20x20 foot stained cedar decks with 16 meter canvas bell tents from Stout Tents. Completely furnished and including a wood burning stove, these bell tents are designed for quiet cozy nights with a view of the river. As they’re “off grid” we provide a source for drinking water and a jackery battery pack with two solar panels. You can charge phones and run a fan, but these sites are for nature lovers who want to get away.
Come stay in our newly renovated cabins. We spent the offseason fixing these original structures up for your enjoyment.
Each cabin is located directly on the river, and comes with it's own personal setup. It includes bedding, full kitchen setup, and a private quarter bathroom. (Showers in bath facility)
The real gem of the Suncook River Camp is the Suncook River itself. We’re on a beautiful slow-moving section of the Suncook. Floating the river from our first beach to our second beach is a full hour of relaxed floating in one of rentable tubes! We’ve got a fleet of single user kayaks, a tandem kayak, and a totally refurbished canoe for rent as well. Great fishing and easily accessible for all ages. Take full advantage of both beach areas and enjoy the beautiful Suncook River.
