In May 2024 we purchased Suncook River Camp and began our total renovation. We've kept "camp" open throughout, ensuring that guests can enjoy the beautiful Suncook River and see what's ahead.
You'll see our team hard at work: Painting, planting flowers, installing pristine showers and port-a-potties, but we promise your vacation won't be interrupted, just upgraded. We're bringing this magical campground back to life. Come see what we’re up to!
With a brand new liner, sun shade, and chairs for lounging, kids and adults alike love cooling off in our in-ground pool. With toys, pool noodles, kick-boards, tubes and the occasional freeze pop delivery you may never want to get out.
Our painted and upgraded bathhouse features separate men’s and women’s toilets, plus 3 upgraded private showers. The hot showers have a modern design and great water pressure. We also have 2 modern portable toilets; and are in the process of installing them near the pool and courtyard area for your convenience.
We offer four classic vintage campers for rent. These unique options all feature brand new mattresses with all the amenities you need to cook and camp with comfort. Find your favorite camp partner and join us for a dreamy vacation. Two have private bathrooms, while all four come with sheets and blankets as well as an outdoor camp stove, coffee press and all the pots, pans, etc you’ll need for your stay.
Our modern family-sized RVs (1 Jayco and 2 Prowlers) are the most commonly requested options for our guests. Each camper is ~30’ long, comes with sleeping for up to 6, ACs, private bathrooms with tubs, full kitchens, and all the amenities including pots, pans, plateware and sheets and blankets. Camp in comfort with zero hassle, our campers are professionally maintained.
We’re proud members of the Bushwhacker Teardrop community and have a contact in Miami that builds custom tiny trailers with state of the art rooftop tents attached. These campers work great off grid for the adventurous type or can be placed on a hookup site so you can leverage full power and water. These are designed for a couple or solo camping- they’ve both traveled the country and have seen national parks and are now here for you to make your own memories in!
Coming Soon. Our beautiful 20x20 foot stained cedar decks with 16 meter canvas bell tents from Stout Tents. Completely furnished and including a wood burning stove, these bell tents are designed for quiet cozy nights with a view of the river. As they’re “off grid” we provide a source for drinking water and a jackery battery pack with two solar panels. You can charge phones and run a fan, but these sites are for nature lovers who want to get away.
The real gem of the Suncook River Camp is the Suncook River itself. We’re on a beautiful slow-moving section of the Suncook. Floating the river from our first beach to our second beach is a full hour of relaxed floating in one of rentable tubes! We’ve got a fleet of single user kayaks, a tandem kayak, and a totally refurbished canoe for rent as well. Great fishing and easily accessible for all ages. Take full advantage of both beach areas and enjoy the beautiful Suncook River.
Come visit our convenient camp store. You’ll find essentials like water and condiments, simple fun like coloring books or bubbles, and camping must-haves like propane (1 lb and 20lb) and basic RV repair supplies. We even keep a small supply of rentable items you may have forgotten: Sleeping pads, coolers, etc. Outside we have firewood for sale (2 logs/$1) and access to the life vests and paddles for our boat rentals (rent in the office, boats stored at the boat launch by the beach.) Stop in and say hi to our staff, in the office from 10AM to 7PM every day!
