While there's plenty to do right onsite at Suncook River Camp, we're also so proud to show off our surrounding community of restaurants, breweries, outdoor (and indoor!) activities, NH's largest State Park, and local farm stands & grocers.
There's lots to do in Suncook Village, Allenstown, Pembroke, Hooksett, Epsom and Concord. Whether you like the outdoors (hikes, mountain biking, kayaking), want a good local restaurant, or want to get indoors to avoid bad weather. Here are some of our favorite spots, but don't hesitate to ask for other options as well.
Bear Brook State Park (Allenstown, 2 mi): Hiking, beach, mountain biking, boating, hilly winding roads for brave road cyclists.
Heads Pond Walking Trail (Hooksett, 2.3 mi) A flat out & back walking trail along Heads Pond, Rte 3. Plenty of parking.
Hooksett-Allenstown Rail Trail (Hooksett, 2.3 mi; Allenstown, 1.8 mi) A beautiful flat out and back trail, partially along the Merrimack River. Plenty of parking at the Hooksett entrance. Allenstown entrance street parking on Ferry St.
